We have an exciting role on offer within our Culture team as a Culture Marketing Officer for a 6-month fixed term contract, providing maternity cover.
To support the development, implementation and evaluation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, designed to achieve sales targets and raise the profile of Middlesbrough Council's cultural venues, including Middlesbrough Town Hall, Middlesbrough Theatre and Middlesbrough Museums.

- Assist the Sales & Marketing Manager in the development of multi-channel campaigns.
- Deliver and evaluate marketing campaigns, using a range of internal and external channels.
- Create strong content for a range of mediums, including social media, websites, print collateral and media releases.
- Ensure campaigns, events and other projects are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets and deliver value for money.
- Maintain regular contact with internal and external customers.
- Liaise with the wider council marketing team, as required.
- Identify sponsorship and funding opportunities where necessary.
- Act as a brand champion for the Council and ensure the highest standards of brand application in all marketing work.
- Carry out duties reasonably required and allocated by the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Provide out of hours cover, by prior agreement, for which time off in lieu will be granted.
