CULTURAL SERVICES MANAGER £43,693 - £47,754 per annum (pay award pending) Mansfield District Council is seeking a new Cultural Services Manager to lead the Palace Theatre, Mansfield Museum, and a growing portfolio of cultural activity across the district. This is a key leadership role at an exciting time for the council, following our successful bid to become an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. The postholder will be responsible for the operational management of both venues and for promoting and supporting cultural development more broadly, including grant-funded projects, strategic partnerships, and community engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience of venue management, programming, and developing inclusive, balanced events that respond to local interests. They will have a strong understanding of how arts, culture, creativity and heritage can positively impact communities, particularly in terms of health and wellbeing. The role requires someone commercially minded, with a proven track record of maximising income, achieving efficiencies, and managing complex budgets and financial processes in a public-facing environment.
