Main duties and responsibilities: To ensure that our productions, shoots, studio and live events receive appropriate technical support. Support ESA Productions and specialist teaching staff with access to, and effective use of, media production technologies. To technically support the use of sound, light, grip and camera technologies for productions and college events. To liaise closely and work collaboratively with the director/producer of the event or performance. To ensure the safekeeping, maintenance and hire of technical kit. To assist in the organisation and storage of kit, equipment and resources. To check all technical stock against inventories and inform the relevant members of staff where missing or damaged materials/equipment need repair/replacement. To keep up to date with new technologies, and advise on health and safety requirements and legislation. To support and maintain the safety and organisation of our equipment warehouse. Provide support and oversight alongside our AV engineer of our booking and technical kit hire services. We would like you to have: Good level of knowledge and understanding of a wide range of audio-visual, camera and supporting technologies and services. Demonstrable experience in camera, production services or relevant technical industry experience. The ability to work as part of a team and also able to work independently using your own initiative. Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. General awareness of Health and Safety issues and safe technical working practice.
