At the heart of the role will be the opportunity to design and develop our already successful programmes for children and young people including the Swan Youth Theatre, Young Rep, Drama4Tots, Holiday Schools, NT Connections Festival, Lamda classes, Work experience programme and Youth Advisory Board, whilst also developing and piloting additional ways of engaging with our young participants and audiences. In parallel the Creative Learning and Engagement Producer will also be fundamental in overseeing the existing weekly adult classes, including, Butoh, adult drama and dance classes, whilst also looking at ways of expanding our offering for both weekly and ad hoc classes developing our work and reach within our community. In partnership with our CEO the Creative Learning and Engagement Producer will also oversee the new Level 3 Diploma BTEC course and look for other vibrant educational developments. Job Description
The Creative Learning and Engagement Producer will support the dynamic delivery of both in house and external events which connect to and are aligned with our organisational values delivering a programme which supports and compliments our main house programming. Together with our Community Producer and Engagement Assistant the team will grow connections with other local organisations, schools and community groups in our area strengthening links and continuing our work with those who may not have seen a place for themselves at Worcester Theatres before.Useful Links
