We at Trapped in Zone One are hosting a youth programme with The Space Theatre this summer, providing FREE to access creative provision to young people in Tower Hamlets. We are keen to work with a creative facilitator working as a assistant skilled in theatre to work with us on from June to August including summer holidays, in a paid role at London Living Wage of £14.80 per hour for a 2-4 hours in-person six workshops in total with young people, ideally skilled in drama and story telling with experience participating in community projects and knowledge of East London. We are looking for a creative facilitator with good communication and time management skills, with a current enhanced DBS check eligible to work with young people, experience with: Facilitating creative workshops working with young people and communities. Strong background in the theatre field and the ability to translate that into engaging workshop activities. Proven experience in leading and guiding creative workshops for various age groups and abilities. Flexibility to adjust workshop plans and activities based on participant needs and learning styles. Commitment to creating inclusive and accessible environments for all participants. Ability to assist with plan and deliver workshop sessions effectively. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and adapt to unforeseen circumstances. The creative facilitator will be working alongside lead facilitator and Trapped in Zone One with young people in Tower Hamlets hosting a workshops from June and August.
