Artistry Youth Dance is looking for a motivated and organised individual to join us as a Company Coordinator, supporting the day-to-day running of youth dance activities, projects and events for Artistry Youth Dance. The role involves administrative duties, and supporting the coordination of our youth dance company programmes. Our projects include: a weekly youth dance company, the AYD100 Dance Workshop and Scholarship programme, performances, and group trips to the theatre for young people. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and administration skills, an understanding of youth dance training and education, and a passion for supporting the development of young aspiring dance artists. A dedication to diversity within the dance sector is essential. Knowledge of policies, practices and procedures such a Safeguarding will also be useful, however training is provided. As the role involves working with children and young people, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check will be required. The role is 2 - 3 days per week (2 days working from home) including Sundays (1 day in-person). The applicant will need to be available on Sundays, in person, between 10.00am - 6.00pm to support the youth dance company training, as well as during half-term projects, and some evenings.
