Job Description You will be responsible for a number of key aspects that will ensure the smooth running and operation of our public profile and how audiences interact digitally, socially and professionally with the various projects and find out about what is happening throughout the year. You will bring experience in marketing and communication with stone proficiency in online marketing and digital publishing tools, including website, social media, archiving, writing and proofing copy, as well as graphics and photo asset management. We are looking for someone with experience of working within art organisations or arts festivals, including freelancer experience to engage and develop audiences and impact. Person specification (Essential) - Experience of delivering marketing campaigns and / or communications for complex multi-eventprogrammes such as festivals - Experience of creating systems and processes to support targets and objectives of the marketing andcommunication strategy - Strong communication and influence skills - Good interpersonal and team-working skills - Good attention to detail, combined with first-class organisation and time management skills - Ability to remain flexible and proactive under pressure, demonstrating persistence, reliability and resilience. - Holding a current UK driving license and own transport is a prerequisite for this position, occasional driving will be required (mileage expenses are reimbursed). - Weekend and evening work will be required as appropriate to our event schedule. The role provides Time o in lieu (TOIL) for any additional days worked. Desirable: - At least three years' experience working within a festival, arts organisation or events The Marketing & Communications role supports the development and delivery of The Auxiliary's marketing strategy in line with its vision, mission, and Arts Council England's Investment Principles. This includes creating and distributing content to promote artistic activities, managing websites and the Auxiliary Archive, and acting as a key liaison with press contacts. The role involves audience targeting and engagement, budget coordination, campaign planning, and content creation across print, digital, audio, and video. It also includes liaising with artists, analysing data to refine strategies, maintaining up-to-date web content, producing promotional materials, coordinating listings and advertising, and promoting studio and venue rentals. The post holder contributes to regular reporting, attends staff meetings, and upholds organisational policies and best practices in arts marketing.
