Meet and greet families visiting Santa at the grotto. Be organised, monitoring time, managing the queue and waiting times. Remain in character in costume provided, setting the mood with Christmas themed stories. Must provide a reference, have Public Liability Insurance and be DBS checked. Must have a passion working with children and ability to maintain high levels of enthusiasm throughout the day. A friendly and outgoing joyful personality, willing to work outdoors. Ability and confidence to interact with all visitors, adults and children alike, in a polite and calm manner. Experience in children's entertainment an advantage but not essential. Preference will be given to people with good availability throughout mid November to 1st of January, and be easily accessible to Central London. Meet and Greet families visiting Santa. Preparing the grotto and queue area to open for the public, ensuring it is tidy and clean. Ensure signage for the public is visible, and/or explain to the public regarding opening times and breaks. Report any incidents or accidents to the head elf.
