Description

Job Summary

We're looking for talented individuals in the Kingston-Upton-Thames and Twickenham areas, passionate about working with children age 0-6, to join our team. We're actively seeking enthusiastic teachers and/or party entertainers to inspire and engage young children throughout London.

Job Description

Lucy Sparkles & Friends are looking for new entertainers and teachers who can commit to working at least 1-2 hours a week either at weekends and/or weekdays. We especially have an urgent need for teachers in North West London.

Our party entertainment takes place at weekends and during school holidays of which we have a high and ongoing demand.

Our classes are held on weekdays in nurseries, pre-schools and children's centres. They progress weekly and are linked to the EYFS national curriculum. Whilst we are still working to build up nursery schedules for new Sparkles, this will be more of a gradual process than booking party work, which is in constant supply.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, proactive, self-confident 'go getter' with good classroom management skills, a commitment to inspiring and engaging children in their early years and a clear and tuneful singing voice. The ability to play keyboard, guitar, ukulele or another similar (portable) melodic instrument to an intermediate level is preferable but not essential.

Lucy Sparkles & Friends provide all their teachers with full training, quality lesson plans, recordings of all the songs, videos of all the dance choreography and all necessary props. The starting salary is £17.50 per 30-minute teaching session and £53.75 per hour for parties. Pay will increase as experience is gained.
