Job Summary

We are recruiting to a single post, which may be appointed at either Lighting Technician or Chief Lighting Technician level, depending on the skills, experience and expertise of the successful candidate.

Job Description

Our welcoming Production Team provides technical services for performances, hires and events across a wide variety of genres in our three receiving venues. We are committed to delivering the highest standards of technical production, presentation and service.
This includes the safe and efficient preparation of spaces, pre-rigs, focus, fit-ups, and get-outs.

In this role, you will work closely with the Technical Manager, Production Manager and the wider Production Team to deliver exceptional experiences that aim to delight. You will be a key point of contact for all aspects of production lighting, helping to ensure that every event exceeds expectations.

The appointment will be made at the level that best reflects the successful candidate's skills, experience and suitability for the role.

Position Details:

Full-time permanent position 40 hours per week (across the pay period)
We require applicants to be 18 years old or over
28 days/5.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays

Job Responsibilities

Chief Lighting Technician- As Chief Lighting Technician, you will take a leading role in the planning and delivery of lighting operations across our venues. You will act as a primary point of contact for visiting companies and house crews on a day-to-day basis, as well as providing support in the absence of the Technical Manager and Production Manager.

Lighting Technician- To be responsible for assisting the Production Department in the delivery of all technical equipment and production requirements throughout Anvil Arts venues.
To be committed to the highest standards of technical production presentation and service with the aim of delivering a customer experience that delights and is above expectation.
To provide technical services for all performances, exhibitions, hires and events for Anvil Arts, with a bias for, but not exclusively towards, lighting.
