We are immensely excited to bring NEON to life in London in our brand-new venue, located at the iconic Battersea Power Station. As a Box Office Assistant, you'll play an instrumental role in creating an outstanding initial visitor experience for guests to the Jurassic World Experience, an amazing immersive exhibition featuring life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.

Box Office Assistants are often the first point of contact for our visitors, playing a vital role in efficient ticket sales, managing bookings, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll handle visitor enquiries with confidence, contribute to a welcoming environment for all, and support the smooth operation of the Box Office. This position requires pro-activity, attention to detail, and a willingness to assist with various tasks as they arise in a dynamic and exciting venue.

We are looking for friendly, organised individuals with a passion for customer service. Someone who knows how to think on their feet and has excellent communication skills.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service or Box Office role, ideally within a theatre, event, or attraction setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and effectively with diverse visitors.
  • Proficiency in handling cash and card transactions with accuracy.
  • Ability to learn and operate a ticketing system quickly.
  • A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

A proactive attitude and willingness to assist the team wherever needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process ticket sales, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently using the ticketing system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, assisting with enquiries in person, via email, and potentially social media.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organised Box Office environment.
  • Assist visitors with general information about the exhibition, venue, and amenities.
  • Handle visitor feedback and minor complaints with professionalism, escalating complex issues to the Front of House Box Office Supervisor or Duty Manager as needed.
  • Support the Front of House team with visitor flow and queue management during busy periods.
  • Be vigilant at all times to protect the welfare of yourself, visitors, and colleagues, reporting any incidents as they arise.
  • Assist with any other delegated tasks that may support the achievement of business objectives as required by the management team.

This is a full-time position. The successful candidate must be available to work weekends and ALL key dates (Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, NYE & New Year's day). This role will run until 04th January 2026 with a rate of £13.85 per hour.
