To help us pursue future growth and development in our organisation, we need a proficient bid writer.

Job Description

We need a bid writer who will work under the project director's direction to successfully implement the company's growth and development strategy, which supports the execution of our organisational strategy. Among the duties will be research, project management, pitch services, and the creation of effective bidding submissions that highlight the excellence and worth of our offerings.

Job Requirements

Role: Bid Writer (Part-Time, up to 15 hours p/m, £15 p/h)
Location: South London

Experience of project management and funding development


Experience in communication with people at all levels, including local government and other external agencies


Able to evaluate complex and conflicting situations, assessing risks, and identifying solutions


Strong negotiation skills with experience of identifying and influencing key decision makers


Strong writing skills


Able to work autonomously, you will be a highly motivated and emotionally resilient individual.

Experience within the Youth Sector industry is desirable; however, it is not essential.

Job Responsibilities

Effectively project manage, write and produce tender submissions, in response to contract opportunities, meeting all required deadlines


Create a project plan for each submission which includes timescales and deadlines to ensure timely submission


Partner with internal and external colleagues, developing their contribution and engaging them in preparation and the completion of tenders


Enable the development of effective and innovative offers to increase organisational growth in line with existing strategies


Attend conferences, meetings, market engagements events, presentations and similar, in London and nationally, in order to promote the organisation's work
