We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests.
Duties
- Supervise and manage bar staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Work with the Head of Catering on menu planning
- Train new staff on bar operations, service techniques, and health regulations.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Implement strategies for increasing sales while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting is essential.
- Experience of working in a live music venue an advantage.
- Experience in team management with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
