We are looking to work with an audiovisual creator/ studio to create content and develop methods of audiovisual storytelling of specific objects. We are keen that the artist(s) work collaboratively with our team and partners through regular conversation, updates and access to exhibition content. This may include access to our collections, community partners and stakeholders to obtain or create content. The budget for this commission is up to £12000 inclusive of all artist fees, equipment and travel costs. A separate budget has been allocated for print and production. We're looking for creatives with relevant experience creating impactful audiovisual storytelling and/or the portrayal of complex narratives. And experience developing audiovisual content with, and for, a diverse range of clients and participants - particularly those of a highly collaborative nature. You'll be expected to attend pre-agreed meetings and collaboration sessions and facilitate conversations with individuals and communities to create content as required. Remote working is expected, but with a minimum of two site visits to meet the team and view the space and collections. Develop relevant AV interpretation for 3 or more individual, or groups of objects, working collaboratively with the team to choose the objects from a shortlist. Aiming to enhance the storytelling of the exhibition and reflect the exhibition's aims, interpretive approach, stories and objects. Supply assets and equipment suitable for daily use over the 10month exhibition period, in the agreed format and to agreed deadlines. Be available during the exhibition installation period for installation, troubleshooting and creation of AV guides for staff.
