Job Summary

Shakespeare's Globe are currently seeking an Assistant to the Directors of Education on a permanent, full-time basis!

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Assistant to the Directors of Education on a permanent, full-time basis!

We are committed to improving diversity and inclusion across our organisation. Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and the Global Majority are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single specification. If you're excited about the role but your experience or qualifications don't perfectly align, we encourage you to apply anyway. We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups such as the global majority, LGBTQA+, those with a disability and neurodiverse conditions.

The role:
This role will be responsible for supporting the Directors of Education in line with our priorities and strategic objectives, ensuring the smooth organisation of the Directors' diaries, and their engagement with colleagues and external partners. This role will provide administrative, creative and practical support to the Directors of Education, and for the Senior Education Producer in the efficient running of the wider Education department.

The post-holder will collaborate with the Education Producing team and other Education teams to administratively support meetings, departmental planning, strategic objectives, activity monitoring, and in the effective delivery of ad-hoc departmental events and projects.

The Education department delivers work through our Education Producing, Higher Education, Learning and Research & Collections teams. Activities take place on-site at Shakespeare's Globe across our theatre and studio spaces; within schools, academic spaces and community settings; and through online sessions.
