Assistant Stage Manager - Dirty Dancing UK and Ireland Tour, New Road Theatricals

We are seeking ASMs with book cover experience and, separately, Technical ASMs. Key responsibilities of the role will be to assist with the running of rehearsals and performances, to cover for the DSM in the rehearsal room and during performances as necessary, to learn and call the show on a regular basis (if book covering), to participate in the show's moves from venue to venue (for technical ASMs) and to work alongside venue crew, ensuring communication is smooth and relationships are positive, and all other duties normally associated with the role of Assistant Stage Manager of a first-class touring production.

Essential skills include experience of working in a similar role on a large-scale production or equivalent, the ability to work under pressure, good pastoral skills, and strong administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills. All candidates must be willing to tour and be available for the full contract.
Rehearsals in London from 20 July 2026
Technical rehearsals in week commencing 17 August 2026 (Milton Keynes)
Performances from week commencing 24 August, prior to weekly touring in the UK and Ireland. Tour expected to continue until July 2027
