Southwell Music Festival seeks a highly organised and personable Assistant Manager (Artists) to coordinate artist liaison, travel logistics, hospitality and welfare. This is a key position supporting performers and working alongside a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Job Description

A key member of the frontline professional team, the Assistant Manager (Artists) will assist the General Manager in overseeing artist liaison, transport and accommodation coordination and rehearsal logistics. The role demands excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly and calmly to changing circumstances.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Collating artist accommodation information with volunteer hosts
- Managing travel schedules and arrival logistics
- Updating and communicating schedules
- Overseeing green room and hospitality provision
- Acting as a go to point for visiting artists
- Assistance with Box Office cover
- Sharing Duty Manager responsibility across allocated events

Mid-July - mid-August: approx. two days per week (home-based)
17-21 August: Full-time (home-based)
24-31 August: Full coverage, including the Festival itself (extended days)
Fixed contact fee of £4,100
