Job Summary

Sam Forster Associates is an exhibition construction company based in North London. We have a large list of prestigious clients including leading museums and contemporary galleries. We are currently looking for a temporary Admin Assistant to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, organised and reliable person to join our small collaborative team of creatives. You will provide key administrative support to company operations. You will have at least 1 year experience in a similar role, be highly organised and have strong multi-tasking skills. You will be someone who enjoys acting on their own initiative as well as working closely in a team. You must be a professional, confident, and clear communicator.

Job Requirements

1 year + experience in a similar role
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong multi-tasking skills
Good basic maths and numerical skills, with confidence handling routine financial administration
Proactive and able to prioritise workload and work independently as well as part of a team

Job Responsibilities

- Support with general day-to-day company operations
- Supporting managers and the wider team with general administrative tasks
- Answering office telephone and responding to emails
- Assist with digital filing, paperwork and updating company records
- Basic finance administration, including credit card reconciliation and coding supplier invoices to the correct projects
- Assist with HR administration
- Organising couriers
- Ordering office supplies and helping to maintain a tidy and organised office environment
- Project procurement support
- Taking meeting minutes
- Handling confidential information professionally

Temporary 3-4 month contract based in our North London Workshop, N4 1LZ
London Living Wage (£14.80 p/h)
Working hours 9-5.30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
