Number 7 Park Street in Cirencester is the former home, courtyard, and studio of artist and craftsman Rory Young. A charity has been established in Rory's name to preserve his house, workshop, and collections as a place of inspiration for those who share his interests in art, craft, and conservation. It will be both a living museum and a centre for conservation skills and education. The organisation is run by an active board of trustees and a Project Director is being recruited. We are now seeking an individual to bring office and communications skills to the Project. This will be a part-time role, primarily working from home, though easy access to Cirencester will be an advantage for events and meetings. Project Location: Working from home and Cirencester, during standard office hours, with travel to the site as required for meetings and events. Occasional early-evening or weekend commitments may be required for receptions and relationship-building. Contract Type: Freelance/Contract position with a duration aligned to the fundraising campaign timeline. Work hours are flexible with an anticipated average commitment of 12 hours per week, e.g. 3-4 mornings a week. Fees are payable against invoice at £15 per hour for 12-16 hours per week over a 12-month period. Experience Key Tasks Please send your CV and a supporting statement outlining your interest in the role and the skills or experience you would bring.
