Half A String's new Academy programme is a brand new way to engage and support emerging practitioners and regional venues. Job Description
-To be trained practically in stage management and technical skills
-Taking on the full operation of The Snowsmith through December.
- Supporting the Director and Design teams as required
- Liaising with the creative team on technical elements of the show.
- Attend production meetings as required
- Managing and organising of props, puppets and costume for the show
- Organised and self-motivated
- Clear and confident communicator
- Passionate about theatre
- Proactive and committed
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player
- Based in Nottingham or the surrounding area
Average day 7.5 hours / average rehearsal day 9am-5pm
2nd Nov: Prop and Puppetry Up-Keep Masterclass.
10th - 14th Nov: Rehearsals Lakeside Arts, Nottingham.
16th - 20th Nov: Rehearsals Lakeside Arts, Nottingham.
23rd - 26th Nov: Rehearsals Lakeside Arts, Nottingham.
29th Nov - 2nd Dec: Tech & Dress
3rd Dec - 3rd Jan: Run at Lakeside Arts, Nottingham.
Days Off During Run: 7th, 14th, 18th, 25th, 26th Dec, 1st Jan.
- Total Fee: £4928.00 (£4928.00 +12.07% Holiday Pay + ACCOMMODATION and TRAVEL)
