Role: UX/UI Designer

Office: London

Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 dependant on experience

Ori is empowering networks to deliver future services through distributed applications. Based in central London, we are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join a growing team of driven and talented individuals. We are looking for candidates to lead design and implementation, taking full ownership of the end to end user experience.

Responsibilities

Visual / General

  • Produce quality design that accurately reflect a visual design language or brand guideline

  • Understanding of typography, color schemes and composition and knowledge of design trends

  • Demonstrate best practices for production considerations and design methods

  • Engage in research to test and inform user experiences

  • Demonstrate general passion for emerging and immersive tech

Interaction

  • Create motion studies for enhancing usability, interaction and storytelling

  • Produce and test interaction flows and mocks that accurately communicate product functionality to engineering team

  • Develop and communicate underlying concepts that inspire implementation

  • Work closely with engineering to integrate designs into products

  • Understand modern web and mobile environments, and how this can be used to further enhance overall user experience

Must Have

  • 3+ years experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong understanding of process

  • Strong visual and user focused design skills

  • Excellent understanding of responsive designing for web & mobile

  • Experience in user research, ability to analyse data & validate before creating a solution

  • Strong grasp of digital trends

  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain design concepts  

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Ability to iterate quickly and refine to pixel-perfection while prioritising tasks

  • Experience designing user-centered solutions that follow usability principles, techniques and methodologies
