The Barbican Centre is Europe’s leading multi-arts venue, including Visual Arts, Music, Theatre and Cinema. Our digital expertise is distributed across the organisation, with a cross-functional Agile team leading on the delivery of our public-facing digital products.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within this team for a UX Lead. Your day-to-day work will focus on the Barbican website, including the delivery of a new purchase path, but you will also have the opportunity to shape the rest of our offer. You will lead on our user feedback, user research and user testing, share results and make recommendations across the organisation.

As the leading User Experience specialist in the organisation, you will be comfortable being a user champion, collaborating with colleagues in all disciplines, and coaching others on best practice.

This role is for you if you’re an experienced designer, if you’re creative, thoughtful, empathetic, and have a curious mind. You’ll drill into the nitty gritty of our analytics to identify trends and help us make data-driven decisions. You’ll to get to know our audiences, come up with new, innovative solutions and help us challenge and improve our ways of working.
