The University of Exeter is seeking an experienced partnership development manager (0.8 FTE) to support its growing programme of collaboration with the creative industries in the UK and internationally. The University has specific strengths and opportunities in performing arts, creative writing and publishing, film, immersive audience experience, digital media and creative digital technologies as well as a track record in securing creative industry and heritage innovation investment. This role will be based in the University’s Innovation, Impact and Business team which is responsible for generating collaborations between researchers and the creative industries in the UK and globally. The Manager will lead on a new creative industry strategy for the University, building on the Creative Sector Deal, establishing and extending relationships with external partners; providing horizon scanning and funder intelligence; and leveraging our UNESCO Creative City status, Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund and regional economic business engagement successes. The Manager will be at the heart of a rapidly growing area of research and collaboration in the University led by a Creative Industries Strategy Group. There will be extensive opportunities to work with world-leading research concepts and to network and collaborate with the cultural and creative sector.
