Maidwell Marketing are seeking to recruit a proactive and passionate individual to join a small team as a full-time Marketing Officer. The successful candidate needs to demonstrate an understanding of theatre marketing, the necessary enthusiasm and logic to develop quickly together with excellent communication skills. The candidate will be expected to assist/lead in all areas of our marketing including printed publicity, digital marketing, social media, distribution, co-ordination of special events, reporting and campaign management. Maidwell Marketing Limited work across a range of West End, touring, arena and off-West End productions. We are seeking to appoint someone who has relevant experience in one or more of these areas.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience and want to further develop their career in arts marketing.

Job Description

An understanding of marketing areas from campaign planning to implementation and evaluation.

Working across multiple platforms including print and online. Knowledge and experience of digital marketing, including social media, display and search.

  • Liaising with external clients, experience of working in a small team
  • Identification and delivery of reports, systems and sales analysis
  • Social media and digital reporting (including google analytics)
  • Managing relationships with ticket agents
  • Understanding and informing the team on best practice for sales and data reporting
  • Set-up for productions and sales platforms
  • Promotional reporting
  • Creating strategic and innovative marketing campaigns
  • Nurturing relationships with both clients and suppliers
  • Preparing for, attending and running client meetings
  • Creating, updating & maintaining campaign budgets
  • Compiling, understanding and distributing sales figures
  • To work collaboratively within the office to support colleagues
  • To provide general assistance and research information when required.
  • Some knowledge and understanding of ticket agents and selling platforms across the UK
