Marketing Communications Manager, London Glassblowing


Salary £27,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Participation in our sales bonus scheme

20 days holidays per year plus statutory bank holidays

Normal Office Hours 9.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday (occasional evening and weekend work will be required for exhibition Private Views and other events)

We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and knowledgeable Marketing Communications Manager to join our team on a permanent, full time basis.

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and well respected contemporary art/craft studio and gallery; to join our creative and friendly team and play an integral and tangible role in our further growth and success.

This is a key role in a small, busy company – the Communications Manager will need to be a self-starter, with the initiative and energy to manage their own workload and get the job done to a very high standard as well as working collaboratively within a team.

Overview of necessary key attributes / skills:

  • Experience of planning highly targeted/segmented email and postal and social media marketing campaigns.

  • Experience in designing and supplying a range of marketing collateral from advertising to posters, invitations and on-site materials, in line with the gallery’s branding guidelines.

  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe suite, e.g. InDesign & Photoshop.

  • Highly IT literate, with experience in administering a Google Apps account.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an eye for detail.

  • Good knowledge of working a CRM system and conversant with a Wordpress website.

The successful candidate will be a team player, self-motivated and an excellent communicator who has a desire to work in an Arts environment.  Educated to degree level or equivalent, or with a minimum of 3 years marketing experience with a proactive, positive, ‘can do’ approach. You will have substantial marketing experience and a love of the arts, with a proven ability to think creatively and develop imaginative campaigns.
