The School of Digital Arts (SODA) is our response to, and an investment in, screen-based business and technologies. It will create a digital skills powerhouse that will host a diverse programme of degree apprenticeships, continuing professional development, work-based training, undergraduate and postgraduate courses and resources.

We are looking to appoint a full-time SODA Lecturer in Theory and Practice with a practical application in international curation. Offering a skill set that combines teaching and international gallery programming, the successful candidate will fully integrate research informed teaching into the existing curating curricula. This should include a demonstrable specialism in one or more of the following areas of research in digital arts: immersive environments, interactive installations, robotics, video, sound art, wearables, VR/AR, live coding and animation.

The successful candidate will also have experience in working on a range of level 5 (or above) interdisciplinary research projects involving emerging technologies with students from a range of disciplines. Please note this is a permanent, full time role that will be split as follows:- Gallery Curator 0.6FTE / Lecturer 0.4FTE.
