Leeds Playhouse is seeking a Kitchen Manager.

The Kitchen Manager will play a pivotal role in the public face of the Playhouse, working alongside other frontline teams such as the Front of House, Premises, and Box Office and Sales teams.

The Kitchen team deliver a balance between welcoming audiences and visitors and delivering a first class audience experience, while still ensuring service is fast enough to allow people to enjoy it in time to see the show. The team will efficiently operate the food court, and also supply the coffee shop, while proactively maximising sales, especially at times of great time pressure.

The role of the Kitchen Manager is a very hands-on chef position which is there to provide a high quality standard of food service to customers in the food court, and the coffee shop, whilst also delivering daily conferences and events. As well as that hands-on cooking work, you will keep up with current food trends to maximise sales, rota production in keeping with budgets, keep health and hygiene records up to date and ensure the general day to day running of the kitchen department.
