UTC Artist Management (UTC) is a multi-award winning, next generation developer and producer of cutting-edge comedy talent. The London office has now opened applications for a Junior Live Producer to join the team for the next stage of exciting company growth. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Junior Live Producer for UTC Artist Management you will work with the core team of Agents/Managers and will predominantly be responsible for aspects of the Live bookings component of the company. Responsibilities focus upon booking shows for all the acts on the roster in line with their personal and company-led progression. You will also handle corporate bookings, warm ups and support slots, help produce live shows and book in new material/trial spots where necessary.   

The candidate will need to liaise with venue managers and promoters, tour managers, other comedy agencies, PR agencies, corporate leads and be the first port of call for any live enquiries, therefore good industry contacts and strong knowledge of the live comedy circuit is required.  

Daily tasks will include negotiating fees, managing the diaries of the acts, coordinating some travel arrangements, creating and chasing invoices and building a strong business development strategy.

In addition, you will be required to attend some comedy shows, support the acts at gigs and attend industry events outside of the standard working hours.

You should be confident in your ability to speak to a myriad of contacts and personality types, whilst maintaining good working relationships with all the acts and having a great eye for detail and opportunity!
