You'll undertake a wide range of tasks in this role, including assisting with scheduling rehearsals, fittings, press calls etc; providing general/logistical support through rehearsals; running rehearsals of specific scenes/routines as required; and noting rehearsal room runs. You'll also take primary responsibility for ensuring that nominated understudies are fully rehearsed and ready to step in if needed. Additionally, once the show is up and running, you'll see/note an agreed schedule of performances, liaising with director and dance captain to ensure quality is maintained. You will also provide ad hoc support for understudies during the run. Key Dates: We want this role to deliver a meaningful professional development opportunity for an early career director, but it also carries key responsibilities, particularly in respect of the resilience of the show through a busy performance schedule, so we're looking for someone who can demonstrate relevant professional experience, ideally including working on one or more previous panto and/or comedy theatre productions, plus the flexibility to maintain an active involvement in the project beyond Press Night. Contract: If you're interested in this opportunity and can demonstrate the key skills/experience we've specified, then please send a CV and covering email to [email protected] no later than 12 noon on 22 June 2026 and we'll be in touch.Job Summary
