If so, come and join Nesta’s growing Arts and Culture Investments and Programmes team as Insights Manager, where you will work on live projects and business development, as well as thinking about how we can structure learning opportunities from our interests and initiatives.

The Arts and Culture Investments and Programmes team is based within the Arts and Culture Finance (ACF) department, whose aim is to build a more financially resilient arts and cultural sector in the UK using the tools of repayable finance. ACF’s first project was the Arts Impact Fund and we are now expanding our activities and social investment offer, building on the momentum generated by AIF.

Working across an innovative multi-partner consortium, you will deliver primary and secondary research outputs relating to user experience of pioneering cultural immersive technologies, plus work with delivery and funding partners to carry out the biennial Digital Culture Survey and coordinate and contribute to the delivery of this report.

You will liaise with the team to identify possible learning opportunities throughout Nesta’s programmes and investments work, while proactively scoping and delivering cutting edge research reports, blogs and other compelling communications content that position Nesta at the forefront of creative economy research. Collaborating with our Creative Economy and Data Analytics team in the Research, Analysis and Policy team on some projects is also a key element of this role.

With significant experience in the arts and culture or creative industries sector, you will have an impeccable record for the timely delivery of complicated projects, ideally involving multiple stakeholders. You will have strong experience of producing written research reports and proposals, winning tenders and building co-funded partnerships to bring in new work, plus leading workshops.

An excellent communicator, verbal and written, with a collaborative and flexible approach to your work, you will also have a familiarity with/or experience of desk-based research, semi-structured interviews, survey design, action research, econometrics, data analytics and focus groups
