Historic London Attraction - Part time Customer Services Assistant, Artisan People


Unique parts of London's underground history are opened to the public only once or twice a year, providing a small number of guests the opportunity to explore and learn about a well preserved historical time capsule, led by experienced tour guides.

The attraction also has a team of Visitor Services staff, led by a Duty Manager, to ensure all guests experience a fantastic visit. Your role as a CSA is to enthusiastically welcome, greet and register visitors to site, accompany them throughout the tour, ensuring safety and imparting knowledge.

We are looking for a fantastic team member to help run the tours from late September through to the end of the year.

Shifts will be 8 hours hours long and you would probably average around 15 - 20 hours per week during tour-time.

Successful candidates must have:

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Experience in public health and safety requirements and evacuation procedures

  • Dedication and commitment

  • Great weekend availability and flexible approach to working

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • A positive and proactive approach to work

  • A fairly good level of fitness as the role requires ascending and descending stairs several times a day

  • An interest in London’s history.

Training is in several parts at the various sites - all are compulsory and paid.

Pay rate: £10.44 hour.
