Serious is one of the UK’s leading producers of live jazz, international and contemporary music events. Working with artists and partners from all over the world, we create world-class concerts, tours and special events including the EFG London Jazz Festival, the UK’s largest annual celebration of jazz.

For over 20 years, our Learning and Participation programme has been making music accessible to the widest possible audiences, reducing barriers to high-quality art and providing the opportunity for participants to work with inspirational musicians.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to manage our highly respected Learning and Participation programme. Reporting to Director Claire Whitaker, the Head of Learning and Participation will develop and manage the delivery of a national programme of scale and ambition building on the Company’s track record. Working across a wide range of partners, venues, networks, facilitators and artists, this position is a key member of the Senior Management Team at Serious and will be responsible for the implementation of new ambitious work alongside the producing and development of the existing programme.

Salary: £30,000-35,000 depending on experience
