Poole Museum Service is looking for a Collections Officer to work with the Curator to develop the service’s management, curation and display of its outstanding collections.

The collections reflect the rich ancient and modern history of Poole and its beautiful harbour.  They are particularly strong in the areas of maritime archaeology and history, social history, local history, ceramics and fine art, as well as having strengths in costume, natural history and world cultures.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will work with the Curator and the collections to develop knowledge of the collections and skills in their care and interpretation.

Poole Museum is the most visited museum in Dorset and, according to Visit England, the 6th most popular free attraction in the South West, and has exciting plans for the future, which could also be your future.
