Into Opera are launching the Norfolk Into Opera Festival and bringing high quality, imaginative opera experiences to Norfolk. The aim? To get more people, of all ages and backgrounds... into opera.

The production launching the festival in August 2019 will be a new production of Donizetti’s comic opera, The Elixir of Love (L'elisir d'amore), conducted by John Andrews and directed by Genevieve Raghu. The production will be performed in english in a translation by David Parry.

CHOREOGRAPHER / MOVEMENT DIRECTOR

Our Choreographer / Movement Director will work closely with our Stage Director to develop an engaging visual and physical language for The Elixir of Love. The role will include collaborating creatively with principals, a small chorus and children from the Into Opera Youth Company. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with a score and who has some previous experience of working with professional opera companies as either a Choreographer and/or Movement Director. The individual we appoint for this role needs to be an excellent communicator, a quick thinker in the rehearsal room, able to work with individuals with a range of movement experience and with a strong eye for detail. We are interested in hearing from emerging, early and mid-career artists.

For more details please head to our website: https://into-opera.org.uk/norfolk-into-opera-festival-2019
