Casual Box Office Sales Assistant, Trafalgar Studios

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our pool of casual Box Office Sales Assistants. As hours will vary considerably, this would ideally suit an individual who works casually, part-time or freelance elsewhere.

This position will involve working Saturdays, and weekday hours as a holiday or sickness cover.

Key Responsibilities:

Responding positively and knowledgeably to all customer enquiries with the aim of achieving sales.

Providing accurate sales and marketing data on request to all authorized parties.

To accurately process all agent sales and any producer/company requests.

Executing ticket-agency administration, including the accurate setting up of offers. Ensuring that all sales are processed correctly, and preparing all COBOs

Working productively under reasonable levels of pressure.

Alongside your colleague(s), oversee matinee/evening incomings. Adhere to Trafalgar Entertainment’s cash-handling procedures and sharing accountability for cash reconciliation and the financial integrity of the Box Office.

Maintaining excellent working relationships with producers, ticket agents and other Trafalgar Entertainment departments.

Efficiently co-operating with other Box Office Assistants in sharing tasks and duties.

Maintaining high standards of customer care – in person, over the phone and by email.

Allowing for special requirements in the accurate booking in of access patrons.

General:

Embracing the fast-paced environment of the Box Office, you will be expected to approach all tasks with accuracy, adaptability and enthusiasm and in a professional and friendly manner. The jobholder is required to exercise total confidentiality, discretion and integrity regarding information acquired as a result of their position within the organization.

Essential Criteria:

A clear and confident communicator – including excellent written and numerical skills.
Self-motivated, whilst being comfortable working as a team.
Strong experience in giving excellent customer service.
Good problem-solving skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
Attention to detail and an ability to prioritize.

Desirable Criteria:

Prior experience of Box Office or theatre in general.
A track record in customer service.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
An interest in theatre.
