As part of the Box Office team at The Postal Museum you will fulfil an important role working in the ticketing and communications hub acting as the first point of contact for all our visitors. As a team, Box Office will be responsible for the input of all bookings, maximising ticket revenue, responding to customer queries and feedback all whilst delivering a first-class service to internal and external stakeholders. A highly organised, methodical and positive work ethic is what we are looking for!

The Box Office Coordinator will:

  • Be a key member of the Visitor Experience Team and coordinate the daily operation of the Box Office.
  • Be responsible for ensuring a first-class customer service is delivered to all those who contact the Box Office through a range of channels that include, but are not limited to, telephone, email, letter and social media.
  • Oversee the life cycle of all bookings from enquiry, to input, to payment and confirmation as well as support the Box Office Manager to maximise ticket availability and revenue income.
  • Be responsible for the training of Box Office Hosts in line with business procedures and lead the Box Office team in achieving their set Service Level Agreements and KPI targets.
